Review of Identified Bathing Waters
In April 2006 the consultation paper, 'Review of Identification of Northern Ireland Bathing Waters 2006' was published. The review resulted in an increase in the number of identified bathing waters from 16 to 23.
A list of Northern Ireland's identified bathing waters is given below. The number of identified bathing waters was increased to 24 in 2008 with the addition of Portballintrae in Co. Antrim.
