To prevent incidents from occurring or minimise the effect of pollution on the environment, the team carries out the following proactive initiatives;

It is well worth spending some time and money to prevent water pollution from occurring as it is an offence to cause pollution, either deliberately or accidentally. In addition to any fine a court may impose, a person found guilty of causing pollution;

Finally, the negative publicity accompanying a pollution incident will often damage a company's image due to society's increasing environmental awareness.
