The Ulster Way

The Ulster Way is a 625mile circular walking route around Northern Ireland. It is one of the longest in the UK and Ireland and provides walkers with an opportunity to view scenery and biodiversity, encounter myth and legend and sample the local culture through all the counties of Ulster. Many partners have worked together to develop the new route which can be explored online at www.walkni.com/ulsterway, or on foot around the country near you!

The revised route for the Ulster Way was officially launched by Environment Minsiter Edwin Poots on 16 September at Crawfordsburn Country Park. The event marked the culmination of many years work between a wide range of partners including NIEA, CAAN, Forest Service, District Councils, NGOs, landowners and walkers and the Ulster Way Advisory Committee among others.
