Places to Visit

NIEA maintain many historic monuments and country parks and countryside centres throughout Northern Ireland. Many of these are open to the public all year round. Knowledgeable and friendly staff are located at most of the sites, some providing guided tours.

NIEA has developed an internal policy statement which now guides the management of its country parks. Work remains to be done to bring all the country parks up to the standard to which we aspire. Visitors should see steady improvements taking place over the coming years.
