Minibeasts: Activity Book for KS1 & 2
A minibeast is a small animal or 'creepy-crawly'. Minibeasts do not have a backbone and are therefore known as invertebrates. They do not have an internal skeleton and some have a hard shell to live in like some animals you might find on the seashore. Like all creatures they need shelter, water, food and air to survive. Some minibeasts are carnivorous (eat meat) and some are herbivores (eat plants). There are lots of different types of minibeasts e.g. insects, arachnids and molluscs. They can be found both on land and in water.
This activity book has been produced with graded exercises for Key Stage 1 & 2 pupils. It introduces them to the different types of minibeast found in different habitats in Northern Ireland.
