Educational Resources

NIEA Corporate Communications Unit produces a variety of Educational Resources which are specifically written to complement the NIEA Education Programmes carried out at our Country Parks, Countryside Centres and State Care Monuments. They range from KS1 and KS2 into the Secondary Curriculum at both KS3 and KS4, with teacher's notes also available. In addition, specific material is being produced for use with GCSE, AS and A level students, all of which help to bring the Northern Ireland Curriculum to life with Northern Irish specific examples that teachers and pupils can use. NIEA educational booklets are free of charge.

NIEA also produces Fact Sheets which cover the areas of work undertaken by the different Functional Units and are themetically divided . This allows for on-going development of new titles and many more subjects are being added.  Each fact sheet once published is available in electronic format as a PDF from the website. Hard (paper) copies are also available from our Country Parks and Countryside Centres.
