File Downloads

The publications and applications which can be downloaded from this site may be in one of the following file formats; Adobe Portable Document File (.PDF), Microsoft Word Document (.DOC), Microsoft PowerPoint Show (.PPS/.PPT), and Microsoft Excel (.xls)

The software, which will enable you to view these documents, can be downloaded from this section of the site;

1. Acrobat Reader (for viewing .pdf documents)
2. Word Document Viewer (for viewing .doc documents)
3. PowerPoint Viewer (for viewing .pps documents)
4. Excel Viewer (for viewing .xl documents)

Hints for Using the Search Function of the Site

There are two main search facilities available within the site. The first is the main site search which looks through the actual contents of the EHS website and returns matching pages and documents based on the criteria you specify.

The second search facility is used to search for publications held on the site. The Publications Search allows you to search simply for EHS publications, or alternatively you can tailor your query to look for specific document types.

Page Loading incorrectly

If a page does not load correctly, press Ctrl + F5 (Internet Explorer) or Ctrl + R (Firefox) to "force refresh" and reload the page.

PDF Document will not open for me

Ensure you have the most recent version of Acrobat Reader. Older versions of the reader software will not display files created by themost recenet PDF creation software (see file downloads above for the link to Adobe Acrobat Reader download page).
