NIEA Strategy Unit
The Strategy Unit co-ordinates strategic development and cross-cutting issues for Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) as a whole, incorporating the activities of the Environmental Protection, Natural Heritage, Built Heritage and Corporate Services Directorates. It has a broad remit including horizon and future scanning for issues that may impact on the Agency’s work and on the environment in the future, policy development and evaluation, and support to the Chief Executive and Board.
