Corporate Communications

A key part of our mission is to promote awareness of the Northern Ireland environment. Whilst promotion of the environment is a process that spans the business of all of our technical Directorates, Corporate Communications (previoused named the Information and Education Unit) of Corporate Services provides the central thrust of this business area.

Education Officers are employed at the main country parks to deliver our environmental message. Their activities are designed to facilitate and offer education as part of the school curriculum and in particular the Key Stage level requirements. However, these services are also open to other groups such as youth clubs, scout troops, community groups. To make arrangements or to get more information about these services please contact our staff who will be happy to help or visit the Places to Visit and Education sections.
